About the company
Seventeen years
under the same company
We have never re-registered after a difficult job and never changed the name over the door. The same Business ID since 2009 is the dullest and the most honest piece of evidence anyone in this industry can offer.
Where we stand today
We build one kind of home —
and we build it very well
Our history
How we got here
The first crew
We started by assembling other people's house kits outside Lahti. It did not take long to work out exactly where other people's timber lets you down: geometry and moisture.
Our own shop
We bought a press and a finger-jointing line. The first year ran at a loss, but we stopped depending on suppliers and their “near enough to size”.
A five-axis machine
We moved to digital cutting. That is exactly when shell assembly dropped from five weeks to two.
Betting on the longhouse
We dropped “we build anything” and concentrated on long single-storey homes. Revenue dipped in the first year and doubled in the second.
The 1:1 layout pavilion
We built a hall where the future home is marked out at full scale. The number of changes made after work starts fell to almost nothing.
A third line
We are commissioning another press, so that the wait for a house kit in peak season never exceeds four weeks.
The team
People, not “highly qualified specialists”

Assembly crews
Six permanent teams, all on our payroll. Average time with the company: seven years.
Production
120 people in Heinola: sawyers, press operators, process engineers, the laboratory and logistics.Documents
Certificates and commitments
The European standard for load-bearing glued laminated timber. Delamination testing on every batch.
PEFC chain of custody, traceable from the felling plot to the stack on the shop floor.
We publish the template openly: a fixed budget and liquidated damages for missed deadlines on both sides.
Fifty years on the structure, five on roof and services, two years of free servicing.
Principles
Four things
we never bend on
An owner's story
“I asked to be shown not a finished house but a live building site — on a weekday, unannounced. They took me. It was raining and muddy, but the timber was under cover and numbered, and the site manager calmly explained what they would be doing tomorrow and the day after. That was the moment I decided.”Mikko Virtanen, Nurmijärvi · Saimaa series, 1,600 sq ft · living here since 2023
